Bio

Wendy became a golf professional in 1987. She became a member of the Southwest Section of the PGA in 1991. Wendy is currently working in television as a golf broadcaster and on-air personality. In Scottsdale, Wendy taught at a few famous properties in Arizona, The Boulders Golf Resort (A Waldorf Astoria Property now) Arizona Country Club, and Orange Tree Golf and Conference Resort. She taught the golf courses at Arizona State University, where she studied Exercise Physiology.

After golf, Wendy opened a successful mortgage brokerage and real estate development business. However, in 2010, she followed her heart and moved to Chicago with her boyfriend, a CEO in the insurance sector. While looking for the next best thing, Wendy is working on her doctorate degree while hosting the Golf Chicago TV show. A strategic thinker, she has a strong C-suite mentality and serves on the board of two not for profit companies two in Illinois, and one in Arizona.

Although home-based in Chicago now, in the winters you can usually find her playing golf in Arizona or Hawaii, most people call her a sun-seeking missile.

Her family is growing. Her son is serving our country in the 82nd Airborne of the ARMY. He is engaged to a wonderful woman and they are raising a little man together. Her boyfriend has two children, both married, and three grandchildren between them.

As a new transplant to Chicago, Wendy is getting lots of television work, commercials for Golfsmith, Golf Tec, and The City of Scottsdale Tourism. She is interviewing in many business sectors hoping to find a position where her history can help to make a difference. Wendy enjoys doing all the ing’s as she puts it… golfing, surfing, snow skiing, dining, entertaining, and fund raising.
